SOFAZ sees sharp drop in investment portfolio bonds' share

As of January 1, 2026, bonds and other money market instruments accounted for 29.8% of the investment portfolio of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), marking a 17.1 percentage points drop year-on-year, Report informs, citing SOFAZ.
During the reporting period, the share of equities in the fund's investment portfolio also decreased by 1 percentage point, falling to 25.6%.
In contrast, the share of gold in the portfolio rose from 20.6% to 38.2%, while the share of real estate increased from 5.9% to 6.4%.
