SOFAZ reduces share of gold in investment portfolio

In 2021, the share of bonds and other money market instruments in the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) amounted to 61.8%, which is two percentage points less than in 2020, Report informs.
Instead, SOFAZ increased its stake in the investment portfolio from 15.9% to 19%.
The share of gold in the fund's investments decreased from 14.2% to 13.1%, while the percentage of the real estate remained unchanged at 6.1%.
At present, SOFAZ has 101.8 tons of gold, which is the same amount as a year ago.
As of January 1, SOFAZ's assets amounted to $45.025 billion, an increase of 3.35% from January 1, 2021.
