SOFAZ raises AAA-rated instruments to 68% in investment portfolio

At the end of the first quarter of 2022, 67.5% of the investment portfolio of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) on bonds and other money market instruments was rated "AAA", which is 10.4 percentage points higher than in the first quarter of 2021.
During the first quarter of this year, SOFAZ increased the share of AA-rated instruments in its investment portfolio from 11.9% to 14.5% and reduced the share of A-rated instruments from 20.9% to 11.1%.
The Fund reduced the share of BBB-rated instruments from 8.8% to 6% and non-investment grade instruments from 1.3% to 0.9%.
As of April 1, SOFAZ's assets amounted to $45.263 billion, 5.85% more than on April 1 last year.
