SOFAZ nearly triples currency sales

In January-October of 2024, the State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) carried out currency sales amounting to nearly $5.92 billion, up 2.6 times year-on-year, Report informs, citing SOFAZ.
In October alone, SOFAZ's currency sales amounted to $174.4 million, which is 13.9% less than in October of last year.
In the ten months of the current year, the transfer from SOFAZ to the state budget amounted to 10.06 billion manats (nearly $5.92 billion), 587.8 million manats ($345.77 million) less than the forecasted amount.
