SOFAZ nearly triples currency sales

In January-September of 2024, the State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) carried out currency sales amounting to nearly $5.75 billion, Report informs, citing SOFAZ.
This is 2.7 times more compared to the same period last year.
In September alone, SOFAZ's currency sales amounted to $732.3 million, which is 4.45 times more than in September of last year.
In the nine months of this year, the transfer from SOFAZ to the state budget amounted to 9.77 billion manats (nearly $5.75 billion), 180 million manats ($105.84 million) more than the forecasted amount.
