SOFAZ extends term of deposit placed in Central Bank of Turkiye by 5 more months

The State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) has extended the term of the 1 billion euro deposit placed in the Central Bank of Turkiye by five more months, SOFAZ said in response to Report’s inquiry.
“Within the investment strategy and rules of SOFAZ, it was decided to extend the term of the deposit for another five months, taking into account the possible perspective of the fixed-income securities market for the near future,” reads the statement.
