SOCAR raises income tax payments by 4 times

In 2021, the State Oil Company (SOCAR) paid 1,162 billion manats ($683.940 million) in income tax, which is 3.9 times more than in 2020, Report informs, citing the financial report of the company.

SOCAR ended the last year with a profit of 2.115 billion manats ($1.244 billion) (the previous year, it had a loss of 1.734 billion manats ($ 1.020 billion)).
