Share of oil, gas sector in Azerbaijan's foreign direct investments surges

Azerbaijan attracted $4.5 billion in foreign direct investments during the first nine months of 2024, marking a 2.3% increase year-on-year, Report, informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

Over the nine-month period, the oil and gas sector accounted for 79.3% of these investments, an increase of 0.1 percentage points from a year ago.
