Russians have $3 billion in assets in Bahamas

In the course of inspections, the Central Bank of Bahamas found assets related to Russia in the country's financial institutions in the amount of about $3 billion. Report informs citing TASS.
“As of February 28, 2022, the sector had approximately $420 million in deposits and $2.5 billion in depository or trust assets, with ultimate beneficial owners in or associated with Russia. The information disclosed today is a summary of international banking and trust sector, and not specific assets under sanctions," the statement reads.
