Quarterly average export prices of Azerbaijani oil and natural gas revealed

In the first quarter 2025, the average export price of 1 barrel of Azeri Light Azerbaijani oil was approximately $74, while the average export price of 1,000 cubic meters of Azerbaijani natural gas was $320, Samir Nasirov, Director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, told a press conference.

Report quotes Nasirov as saying the current account surplus in the oil and gas sector during the quarter was $3.8 billion, and the deficit in the non-oil and gas sector was $2.7 billion. These are 6,8 % and 43,9 % more, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
