Price of Facebook share declining

Facebook shares are falling in price at the opening of trading on the New York Stock Exchange amid the publication of new investigations about the company's problems.

The value of Facebook shares in the first minutes fell by 1.18% ($3.84), Report informs, citing TASS.

However, in the first ten minutes, the price fluctuated. The fall is periodically corrected in the range of 0.3-1.2%, a single trend has not yet emerged.

Later, the Facebook stock went up. According to the data of the trading platform, by 10:08 am the growth was 0.32% ($1.05).

On Monday, a number of world media outlets published a new series of investigations into the problems of Facebook. According to the Associated Press, 17 American media outlets contributed to The Facebook Papers. The journalists worked together to study thousands of pages of internal documents of the American company, which were in the possession of the former Facebook employee Frances Haugen.
