Number of ATMs gradually reduced in Azerbaijan

Baku. 13 June. REPORT.AZ/ Total number of ATMs in Azerbaijan on a monthly basis reduced by 7 units, from the beginning of the year - 41 units (-5.23%) and 1 May amounted to 2553.

Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, 1412 or 55.3% of ATMs distributed in Baku, 1 141 or 44.7% in the country's region. In April in the capital 9ATMs closed, but in the regions 2 ATMs installed.

Since beginning of the year 90 ATMs or 5,99% closed in the capital, 51 units or 4,28% - in the regions.

According to the information, as of May 1, 2016, for 3.81 thousand residents was 1 ATM. In the beginning of the year, this figure was equal to 3.6 thousand people/ATM.
