Number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan up by over 1%

As of May 1, 2025, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan amounted to 816,700, marking a 1.2% increase compared to January 1, 2025, Report informs, citing the country’s State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

During the first four months of 2025, the number of active VAT payers increased by 3.8% year-on-year (YoY) to reach 54,800. Also, the number of active business entities rose by 2.6% YoY to 223,100.
