Number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan rises 4%

As of June 1, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan stood at 738,400, up 3.7% from the beginning of the year, Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

According to the information, the number of active VAT payers increased by 6.6% to 42,600 in January-May.

In the reporting period, the number of active facilities (enterprises) went up by 3.4% to 195,700.
