Baku. 23 July. REPORT.AZ/ During the first half of the year 176 500 000 manats, or 72.8% of premiums in Azerbaijan accounted for non-life insurance.
According to the Report, chairman of Azerbaijan Insurers Association (ASA) Orkhan Bayramov said. According to ASA, the market non-life insurance increased by 13.2% in comparison with the same period in 2014.
During the first half of this year, 66.7% or 61.5 million manats of payments in the insurance market accounted for the non-life insurance, a decrease observed by 0.7% in comparison with the same period in 2014.
Among the benefits of non-life insurers in the health insurance made 39.6%, or 24.3 million manats, insurance of a mandatory liability of automobile owners - 25% or 15.4 mln. manats, CASCO insurance - 19.8%, or 12 2 mln. manats, other types of non-life insurance - 15.6% or 9.6 mln. manats.
During the reporting period, for every 100 manat fees for non-life insurers accounted for 34.8 manats of payments. In January-June of 2014, this number amounted to 39.7 manats.
