Interbank loans reduced in Azerbaijan

Baku. 16 May. REPORT.AZ/ In Azerbaijan, the average interest rate on interbank credits in manat was 5.85%, in foreign currency - 4.53%, as of 1 April, 2016. Report informs referring to the Central Bank, decline was observed in the interest rate in comparison with the previous month. So, as of March 1,2016, this figures were equal to 5,88% və 4,83%, respectively.
Notably, the highest average interest rate of 18.87% recorded on manat credits for a period of 30-90 days, the lowest - in the amount of 1.38% on loans for 30 days.
The highest average interest on foreign currency loans for a period of 30-90 days was 12.01%, the lowest on loans for 30 days - 2.16%.
