ING updates inflation forecast in Azerbaijan for 2024-2025

The ING Group of the Netherlands has set the average annual inflation forecast for Azerbaijan at 1.5% in 2024, 4% in 2025, and 4.2% in 2026, Report informs, citing the company.
The new forecast for 2024 is 0.4 percentage points higher than the previous month’s forecast. For 2025, it is 0.2 percentage points higher, while the forecast for 2026 remains unchanged.
According to forecasts, in the third quarter of 2024, the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan is expected at 1.9%, and in the fourth quarter at 3.2%.
Meanwhile, in the first quarter of 2025, the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan is expected at 4.1%, in the second quarter at 4.5%, and in the third quarter at 3.9%.
