Inflation in Azerbaijan exceeds 1% since start of 2024

In January-February 2024, the consumer price index in Azerbaijan amounted to 101.3% compared to the same period last year, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

The consumer price index amounted to 100.2% for food, drinks and tobacco products, 101.6% for non-food products, and 102.7% for paid services provided to the population.

Last month the consumer price index was 100.6% compared to January and 100.8% year-on-year.

In particular, the consumer price index for food, beverages and tobacco products in February was 100.7% compared to January and 99.7% year-on-year.
