Key indexes on the New York stock exchange were changing in different directions by the session's close on Tuesday, Report says.
According to data on the trading platform's website, the Dow Jones industrial average rose by 262.95 points (+0.90%) and stopped at 29,420.92. The S&P 500 index, which includes the 500 largest companies in the US market, fell 4.97 points (-0.14%) to 3,545.53. The NASDAQ electronic exchange index dropped 159.93 points (-1.37%) to 11,553.86.
The price of December futures for WTI crude oil rose by 0.10% to 41.4 US dollars per barrel at the session's close. The cost of gold futures fell by 0.24% to $ 1,871. 7 per troy ounce.
