IMF lowers forecast on Azerbaijan's current account surplus

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicts that the ratio of the current account surplus to the gross domestic product (GDP) in Azerbaijan will be 16.3% this year, 2.9 percentage points less than the Fund's April forecast.
The IMF predicts this figure at 15.7% In 2024 and 7% in 2028, 1.7 and 1 percentage points less, respectively, compared to the previous forecast.
