IMF improves economic growth forecast for Azerbaijan

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicts that Azerbaijan's gross domestic product (GDP) will increase by 3.7% this year, Report informs, citing the IMF's World Economic Outlook

According to the IMF, this is 0.9 percentage points more than the April forecast.

The IMF expects Azerbaijan's economy to grow by 2.5% next year, which is 0.1 percentage point less than the previous forecast. The Monetary Fund predicts GDP growth in 2027 at the level of 2.5%.

Azerbaijan's economy grew by 5.6% in 2021.
