Hong Kong's gold imports from Russia increase fivefold

Gold imports to Hong Kong from Russia reached 88.1 tons in 2023 and were worth 43.6 billion Hong Kong dollars (US$5.6 billion), the statistical department of the Hong Kong government said, Report informs via Interfax.
Thus, the volume of Hong Kong’s gold imports from Russia increased fivefold.
According to Chinese customs statistics, gold imports from the Russian Federation to the main territory of China in 2023 amounted to $321 million.
