Government mortgage lending doubles in Azerbaijan 

Mortgage lending through Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund (MCGF) amounted to AZN 134.8 million in January-April 2021, twofold higher than the same period in 2020, Report informs citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

In the reporting period, the loans refinanced by the MCGF rose by 6.1-fold to AZN 85.3 million.

The funds attracted through the issue of securities went up by 10% to AZN 55 million.

The funds allocated from the state budget to the MCGF dropped 2.1-fold to AZN 35.6 million.
