Gold prices grew 1.5% this morning to $1,980 per troy ounce, Report informs, citing the trading data.
Markets are assessing the results of the Fed's session and forecasts on base rate.
This morning the April futures for gold rose by $30.2, or 1.55%, to $1,979.8 per troy ounce at New York's Comex. The May futures for silver rose by 1.54% to $23.137 per ounce.
