Gold prices rise slightly ahead of publication of Fed’s minutes

Gold prices rose slightly on July 4 morning, as investors are waiting for the publication of the minutes of the June meeting of the US Federal Reserve System (FRS) on July 5, Report informs referring to the auction data.
Thus, the price of the August futures for gold on the New York Comex exchange rose by $2.45 (0.13%) to $1,931.95 per troy ounce. September silver futures rose 0.13% to $23.142 an ounce.
US stock exchanges are closed on July 4 due to a public holiday.
