Global central banks bought 19.4 tons of gold in April

Global central banks, according to preliminary data, bought 19.4 tons of gold in gold reserves in April after selling 9.4 tons in March, Report informs referring to the calculations by the World Gold Council (WGC).
The largest buyers were Uzbekistan (8.7 tons), Turkiye (5.6 tons) and Kazakhstan (5.3 tons).
Gold was sold mainly by Germany (0.9 tons), Mexico and the Czech Republic (0.1 tons each).
