Georgia's trade turnover with Azerbaijan down by 21%

In January-March 2024, the value of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia decreased by 21% compared to the same period last year and amounted to $298.991 million, Report informs, citing the National Statistical Office of Georgia.

Azerbaijan’s share in the total foreign trade turnover of Georgia was 6.4%.

During the reporting period, the value of products exported by Georgia to Azerbaijan decreased by 25.5% to $134.507 million (10.1% of total exports), and the value of products imported by Georgia from Azerbaijan declined by 16.8% to $164.484 million (4.9% of total imports).

In January-March, Georgia's total trade turnover amounted to $4,699,336,000, down 6.5% year-on-year. The exports decreased by 9.3% to $1,325,991,000 and the imports by 5.3% to $3,373,346,000.
