Georgia's debt to neighboring countries declines

As of March 1, 2021, Georgia's debt to Azerbaijan amounted to $5.054 million, Report's Georgian Service informs, citing the Georgian Ministry of Finance.
According to the ministry, Georgia's debt to Azerbaijan showed a month-on-month decrease of $437,000.
The total external debt of the South Caucasus country is $7.8 billion, of which $7.4 billion falls to the government's share.
Georgia's debt to Turkey, Russia, and Armenia also decreased compared to the previous month and amounted to $9.766 million, $37.468 million, and $5.100 million, respectively.
