Foreigners to be able to obtain temporary residence permit by investing in government securities

Foreigners and stateless persons in Azerbaijan will be granted temporary residence permission if they own state securities worth 100,000 manats ($58,825), reads the bill on the amendment to the Migration Code, Report informs.

With this amendment, it is intended to grant permission for temporary residence in the case of holding state securities with a nominal value of at least 100,000 manats or investment securities of legal entities whose shares (shares) are 51 percent or more owned by the state.
