Fitch downgrades global GDP growth forecast for 2021

Fitch Ratings has downgraded its forecast for global GDP growth in 2021 from 6.3 percent to 6 percent, Report informs referring to the September Global Economic Outlook report.
According to the agency’s analysts, the global economic recovery is still proceeding rapidly but is approaching its speed limits. In addition, the recovery pace is limited by supply problems.
The forecast for the US has also been lowered - from 6.8 percent to 6.2 percent. The growth in demand affects the rise in prices for goods and services. In this regard, inflation forecasts in the US were raised again.
For China, expectations were revised from 8.4 percent to 8.1 percent, and for the eurozone - from 5 percent to 5.2 percent.
