Farid Huseynov: Kapital Bank not plan to buy any bank in Azerbaijan or abroad

Kapital Bank OJSC does not intend to buy the deposit portfolio or shares of Nakhchivan Bank OJSC, the only regional bank of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Board of Kapital Bank Farid Huseynov said at the press conference held on the financial results of 2023, Report informs.

According to him, in general, Kapital Bank does not plan to buy any bank in the country or abroad.

The volume of the loan portfolio transferred from Nakhchivan Bank to Kapital Bank is around 184 million manats (about $108 million). Of that, 84.5 million manats (about $49.7 million) are corporate loans, and the rest are non-corporate loans, Huseynov added.
