Eurozone reports deflation in December

In December 2020, the 19-member eurozone recorded 0.3% annual deflation, Report mentions, referring to the European Statistical Office (Eurostat).
According to the information, 1.4% inflation was observed in food, alcohol, and tobacco products, 0.7% deflation was noticed in the service sector, 0.7% in the non-energy, and 6.9% in the energy sector.
