Euro fell to 14 years low

Baku. 20 December. REPORT.AZ/ The exchange rate of the euro against dollar fell to a minimum of 14 years.
Report informs, today Euro/USD rate dropped to the level of 1.0352 USD/EUR.
The cause of the decline are positive news from US economy, from the, increase of discount rate by Federal Reserve System and pointing on the continuation of this trend in 2017, the poor performance of the European Union (EU) economy, Economic and political problems in the EU.
Analytical Group of Report expects that, dollar will be equal with euro in the near future. Even in the first half of 2017, the dollar is likely to become stronger than the euro. The strengthening of the dollar is expected to have negative impact on currencies of developing countries."
