Elman Rustamov: Azerbaijan sees no threats from cryptocurrency market

“We have a very low level of cryptocurrencies. Now it is necessary to study how much financial damage the cryptocurrency can cause in the world, and what the risks associated with the movement of capital are. So far, we don’t see any serious threats from the cryptocurrency market,” Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Elman Rustamov said at a press conference, Report informs.
He added that the activities of banks are being monitored in countries where cryptocurrency has become widespread.
