The head of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), Nikolay Podguzov, hopes that Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and other countries will eventually join the bank, Report informs via TASS.
"I would very much like to see both Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan among the participants of the bank. I hope that these countries will also join the bank over time," he told reporters on the sidelines of the conference of investors - members of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP).
Podguzov also said that the EDB and Uzbekistan are continuing active negotiations on the republic's entry into the list of participants in the development institution.
