The gross domestic product (GDP) worth 818.6 million manats ($481.5 million) was generated in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic during the first seven months of 2024, 0.6% more year-on-year, Report informs, citing the autonomous republic’s Statistical Committee.
Over the past year, the GDP per capita in the autonomous republic rose by 0.1% to 1,744 manats ($1,025).
Industry accounted for just over 295.1 million manats ($173.7 million) of the 7-month GDP production in Nakhchivan, which is 2.3% more year-on-year.
Some 89.5% or 264.2 million manats ($155.4 million) of the industrial output fell to production and 10.5 % or just under 31.1 million manats ($18.28 million) to services.
