As of December 31, 2024, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) loan portfolio in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.052 billion euros, Report informs via EBRD.
The portfolio volume increased by 2.14% (22 million euros) over the month. For comparison, as of November 30, 2024, it was valued at 1.03 billion euros and covered 32 projects.
At the beginning of 2025, the bank's portfolio in Azerbaijan includes 33 projects.
According to EBRD data, the main part of the portfolio - 92% (964 million euros) - is directed towards sustainable infrastructure development.
The corporate sector accounts for another 5% (54 million euros) and financial institutions are responsible for 3% (34 million euros). In total, the EBRD has invested more than 4.04 billion euros in Azerbaijan across 195 projects.
The bank's operating assets in the country as of December 31, 2024, amounted to 754 million euros, increasing by 13.21% (88 million euros) compared to the figure as of October 31.
