Dollarization of bank deposits increased in Azerbaijan

Baku. 7 November. REPORT.AZ/ Level of dollarization as of October 1, 2016 has reached 81.75% in bank deposits of Azerbaijani population. Last month, this figure was 81.6%. From the beginning of year, level of dollarization was 85%, but in the corresponding period of 2015 just 75.7%.

Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), dollarization of the deposit base as of October 1 amounted to 78.64%. Last month, this figure was 81.04%, in the beginning of year - 81.6%, in the same period of 2015 - 75.41%.

As of October 1, 2016, in loans this figure was 47.29%, as of September 1 - 48%, since the beginning of the year - 49.4%, in the corresponding period of 2015 - 44.11%.
