Demand for US dollar declines at foreign exchange auction

The demand for foreign currency at an exchange auction at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) with the participation of the State Oil Fund of the country (SOFAZ) amounted to $220.8 million on March 11.
CBA informs that this is $102.4 million, or 32 percent less than on March 10.
The banks' demand met entirely, taking into account the time interval before the next foreign exchange auction.
At the auction, the average rate of manat set at 1.7000 AZN/USD.
