A delegation led by Taleh Kazimov, the Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), has embarked on a working visit to the US to participate in the 2024 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG), Report informs.
According to the CBA, during the visit, the delegation will participate in the meeting of the Constituency Group that includes Azerbaijan in Washington DC, as well as in events attended by finance ministers and central bank governors of the Caucasus, Middle East, and Central Asian countries. They will also hold meetings with senior officials of the World Bank and IMF.
The annual meetings bring together senior representatives from the public and private sectors, international organizations, civil society, and academia. The meetings discuss the most important issues on the global cooperation agenda and economic challenges.
