Crowd gathered in front of 'Bank Standard' office

Baku. 11 October. REPORT.AZ/ Start of payout to depositors of under liquidation Bank Standard CJSC caused congestion in front of bank’s head office. Report informs, the reason of congestion is that clients of bank’s branches also come to head office to claim their money back.

Nevertheless, depositors were explained that they had to take their money in branches where they had made deposits. After this notification crowding relatively reduced.

Security measures were increased in front of Bank Standard office, additional police and medical personnel were deployed in the territory to prevent any incidents.

Depositors get their money back by turns as soon as they fill in application form addressed to Deposits Insurance Fund.
