Circulation velocity of Azerbaijani manat increased in September

As of October 1, 2024, the circulation velocity of Azerbaijan's national currency - the manat - was 3.46 points, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
According to the bank, this is 0.02 points more compared to September 1, 0.02 points less compared to the beginning of the year, and 0.19 points less compared to the previous year's figure.
According to the bank's statistics, the lowest circulation velocity of the manat in the last 17 years was recorded at the end of January 2015, just before the first devaluation of recent years, and amounted to 2.68 points. The highest rate was recorded in 2005 (15.72 points).
