China intends to block access to crypto-currency market

Baku. 16 January. REPORT.AZ/ The Chinese government intends to block access to stock exchanges that carry out centralized trading with crypto-currencies. Report informs citing the Bloomberg, even though all major China-based quotes on stock exchanges were closed, government believes it is not enough. They said they were planning to block access to crypto currency exchanges for citizens living in China.

Bloomberg informs citing the sources in China, it is expected to ban access to all domestic and foreign crypto-currency exchanges. The Chinese government also intends to impose restrictions on the activities of physical and legal entities carrying out provision of quotations, calculations and clearing exercises in centralized crypto-currency exchanges.

Notably, disclosure of the news has led to global sales in the crypto-currency market and capitalization of the market declined below $ 650 bln. Bitcoin price has dropped to $ 13,100, a minimal level of the year.
