Chairman of Atashgah Insurance resigns

Azar Aliyev, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ateshgah Insurance OJSC, has resigned, Report informs, citing the company.

According to the company, Tahir Kazimov, a member of the Board of Directors, is an Acting Chairman of the OJSC.

Azar Aliyev will work as an advisor to the chairman of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Sustainable and Operative Social Security (DOST) Agency. He also resigned from the position of deputy chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau.

Atashgah Insurance was founded in 1996. Its authorized capital is 5.009 million manats ($2.94 million). Also, 63% of the company's shares belong to ISR Holding LLC, 27% to Ran-Exim LLC, and 10% to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
