CBA unveils schedule of decisions on interest rate corridor parameters for 2022

Decisions on the parameters of the interest rate corridor will be made taking into account updated macroeconomic forecasts, the transmission of external and internal factors on inflation costs, inflation expectations and changes in the balance of risks, reads a statement by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) “On the main directions of monetary policy and policy to maintain financial stability for 2022,” Report informs.

The statement also says that the principle of implementation of counter-cyclical monetary policy will be taken as a basis.

In 2022, decisions on the parameters of the interest rate corridor will be presented to the public eight times in accordance with the schedule: January 28, March 18, April 29, June 17, July 29, September 16, October 28 and December 16.
