CBA: Development of green taxonomy in its final stage

The preparation of the Green taxonomy for the financial sector in Azerbaijan is in its final stage, said Kanan Mammadov, the leading economist at the Sustainable Finance Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), Report informs.

"Local and foreign experts, as well as representatives of the relevant state agencies, were involved in the preparation of the taxonomy. Currently, we are investigating how the document can be applied by banks and other parties in the sector. We are trying to make the taxonomy more understandable and practical. That is why feedback is important for us. The green taxonomy will be presented to the public in the coming months," he said.
