CBA joins OECD International Network on Financial Education

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has become a full member of the International Network on Financial Education (INFE) under the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Report informs, citing the CBA.

The CBA announced its new membership status, which grants the institution access to various international initiatives and working groups, including "Financial Literacy Standards: Implementation and Evaluation," "Digital Financial Literacy," and "Financial Literacy and Sustainable Finance."

Through this membership, the CBA will participate in the development of global policy documents, contribute directly to discussions, and gain access to a comprehensive repository of existing policy resources. This enables the bank to regularly engage with advanced practices and approaches in the field.

The move will support the CBA in implementing financial literacy programs aligned with international standards, enhancing information accessibility, and expanding overall financial inclusion.

The Central Bank said it continues to strengthen international cooperation in financial literacy as part of its efforts to promote greater financial inclusion in Azerbaijan.
