CBA, IFC mull building favorable environment for sustainable finance

Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Taleh Kazimov met with Jamie Fergusson, Global Director for Climate Business at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Report informs.
The meeting discussed the goals and ambitions for COP29 and green finance, as well as cooperation with IFC in building a favorable environment for sustainable finance and developing taxonomy, Kazimov said on X. “We also underlined the initiatives implemented by the Central Bank towards the transition to sustainable economy.”
Additionally, other important issues of mutual interest and prospects for further cooperation between the institutions were discussed.
