Budget transfers from customs authorities up by over 10% in Azerbaijan

In January-July 2023, the budget transfers from the State Customs Committee (SCC) amounted to 4,194.4 million manats (nearly $2.5 billion), up 10.4%, from January-July 2022, Report informs, citing the Committee.
In the reporting period, the revenues from customs duties increased by 18% to 1,068,831,000 manats ($628.7 million), from value-added tax (VAT) by 7.4% to 2,912,714,000 manats ($1.7 billion), from excise taxes went up by 38.8% to 147.6 million manats ($86.8 million), and from road tax dropped by 28.1% to 30.251 million manats ($17.8 million).
