Budget transfers from customs authorities up 25% in Azerbaijan

In January 2023, the budget transfers from the State Customs Committee (SCC) amounted to 506.780 million manats ($298.11 million), up 25.5%, from January 2022, Report informs, citing the Committee.
In the reporting period, the revenues from customs duties increased by 29.4% to 121.933 million manats ($71.73 million), value added tax (VAT) by 22.8% to 365.562 million manats ($215.04 million), excise taxes went up by 77% to 14.841 million manats ($8.73 million), road tax grew by 18.9% to 4.4 million manats ($2.6 million).
